Fanfic Illustration

The glass of butterbeer slid in from of her. Hermione looked up at the bartender of The Leaky Cauldron and gave him a bewildered look.
"Excuse me, I didnt order this." She said politely. You could tell how exausted she was by the tone of her voice. Then again, 14 classes a day plus head girl duties will do that to you.
"Courtesy of the gentleman down the way." The barkeep nodded.
Hermione looked to her left. At the end of the bar, still wet and sickly looking from the lake, sat Draco Malfoy. He smiled and raised his drink to her.
"What do you want?" Hermione asked acidly. He slid down to the seat next to her and took a sip of his butterbeer.
"I saw you leave, and I figured that now would be the perfect time to discuss it." He smirked.
"Discuss what?" She blinked.
"Our soon to be friendship." Draco said in a 'no-duh' tone of voice.
"Our what?!"
"Oh common Hermione, you're smart! You can't save my a*** TWICE and not say we're friends. Besides we're on the same team. Remember? Order of the Pheonix? WE're going to have to deal with each other some time. Let's just make it so we're not at each others throats."
